Regardless of how I may be judged or the outcome of me publicly sharing this article I must say, as a woman who is into Advertising/Public Relations trends I can’t help but wonder if this article was meant to be a hit piece by some very talented Public Relations employees/professionals and/or just an article tailored towards what may happen. However, either way, I’m guessing that this article is only going to help boost Target’s image within 1-2 years or sooner because the article lists some of the customers who see the good in what Target is doing. Nonetheless, I have shopped at the following Targets in the Washington D.C. area; The Target attached to the Prince George Plaza Shopping mall and close to PG Plaza metro in Hyattsville Maryland, the Target attached to the Wheaton shopping mall close by the Wheaton Metro in Wheaton Maryland and the Target near the Columbia Heights metro.  If the Targets referenced in this article are anything like the Targets I have personally seen, I would guess that the dressing rooms are going to be manned by at least one to two employees to be on the safe side and/or security personnel to keep a watch on customers. The Prince Georges Plaza shopping mall Target has security guards in addition to the employees which I think may help some concerns that other customers may have. By no means do I claim to know everything and instead I’m striving to be more of a woman who knows a lot yet still effectively and creatively utilizes more opportunities to learn and grow.  I just strongly believe that the publicity behind this boycott is probably going to more likely help Target and I would guess that they probably have a focus group of customers and/or PR/Marketing/Advertising reps to assist as advisors.
